Eric Schermerhorn is not your average voice over artist. You can hear him everyday as the promo voice that drives The Doctors daytime TV show on CBS. He has a voice of cool confidence with a range of intensity and sincerity that's perfect for narration or your next car commercial.
Eric has been in the music business for over 20 years. He has played guitar and/or written music and performed with: David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Seal, Lucinda Williams, Pink,Sheryl Crow, Jason Mraz, The The, Shelby Lynne, Paula Cole, They Might Be Giants, Richard Butler and Eagle-Eye-Cherry.
He grew up on the east coast and enrolled at Berklee College of Music to study film scoring. After Boston he moved to NYC where his music career blossomed. Besides major recordings he has played guitar on hundreds of TV commercials. He moved to Los Angeles in 2001 and started a music house called CHIMP where they score music for TV and film.
Studio: His guesthouse in LA. Has been transformed into a state of the art recording studio where he is able to turn a job around in a few hours. He uses Neumann and Sennheiser microphones.
